Our Welding Services

What type of welding services do we provide?

Our welding services cover a wide range of industrial, commercial and residential applications using either TIG welding or MIG welding and can be done onsite or at our welding facility.

We are known for our Stainless Steel and Aluminium welding skills. We have welded many notable Sheffield landmarks that can be seen throughout the city centre, it's Peace Gardens and other prominent public places.

We were subcontracted to play a roll in Sheffield's World Student Games activities in 1991 welding many of the stainless steel handrails and pool rails at Ponds Forge Swimming Pool. You can also see much of our stainless steel welding at Meadow Hall in the Don Valley and Sheffield Arena.

We also provide precision welding to the medical industry and cutlery industry throughout Sheffield.

But it's not just about the high profile jobs. We also work with residential and individual customers directly. Our family work ethic means that we won't turn you away if you walk in our welding shop with a frying pan that needs the handle re-attaching, or modification of a car part.

We also work with car enthusiasts to do custom car part welding work.

We are geared up to handle large run projects as well as one-off welding jobs. It's this flexibility combined with our work ethic and reputation that keeps our welding business growing.

TIG Welding

TIG is short for "Tungsten Inert Gas", and uses a tungsten electrode that heats the metal you are welding and gas (most commonly Argon) protects the weld puddle from airborne contaminants. TIG welding produces clean, precise welds on any metal.

TIG welding is used for all our high end and specialised welding services.

MIG Welding

MIG (Metal Inert Gas) or GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) as it is also known uses a continuous feed wire electrode that is deposited directly on the material being welded.

MIG welding provides deep penetration for welding thick materials in industrial welding applications. It can also be used to effectively rebuild worn or broken surfaces.
